Elmo was just checking on all the kids, giving them water. This is a
Lasiodora difficilis (Brazilian Fire Red) tarantula.

We drove out to this big beautiful house out in the country for a
professional photo shoot with Spencer for the local Down Syndrome Association's

Out for a
family walk in the evening. This evening we found
a red balloon holding an LED light
and a patch of mushrooms! I don't think Sasha had ever seen growing mushrooms before. It was so fun to watch her investigate them.
